The idea with asking him out in an e-mail is a good one - you will do what you want sparing yourself the embarrassment of facing him at this stage. Don't you have mutual friends? Some of them may pass him a message from you, so your parents don't see. And about his age - does it really matter? 3 years is just fine in a realtionship (men and boys grow slower in mind so you are just the same age as far as the way of thinking is concerned) Good luck!!!

The only way to do this is to get out of your comfort zone. It may not seem easy at first but when you do it'll be worth it whether its for this situation or another. There's really no work-around in asking for a guys number or email. You just have to do it. Don't ask someone to ask for you because that's pathetic. I know these things because I was a shy guy before. Take it from me, it's worth it. Good luck.

The only way your going to let him know that you want to be with him is to tell him. Notes are too kiddish, try talking to him face to face, then he'll know your serious about pursuing him. If you parents are around try to tell him "I need to talk to you in private" and find a corner to talk to him in, i'm sure your parents arn't following you. If they are, ask him straight up for his phone number, say "we should hang out sometime", then maybe your parents will think its more of a "friend" thing. If your shy, you must break out of that shyness if you really want to be with this guy. Just go for it, if your sure he likes you, what do you have to lose?

Find a way to pull him aside! I am dying to ask this guy out, and I missed my chance last night, so I am calling him tomorrow. Have you ever thought about calling him? The guy I am crushing on is a year and half younger than me. And the guy I liked before this one was 7 years older. Age ain't nothin but a number.

i dont know the exact situation here but u can give ur e-mail address and what ever in a note, then give it to one of ur friends and have him or her slip it to him, just destract ur parents while this is happening....or even tell ur friend to go talk to him and get information about him and later on when parents aren't around have her give it to you.

Follow your heart. My girlfriend asked me out, she did not wait for me to take action. I was to shy, I admit. I liked her and she liked me. We have been married for the last 2 years.

suggest that you want to send him a funny pic. or song & need his email. if your parents don't want you to have contact with him unsupervised, then you'll have to get sneaky. slip him a note with your email on it or something. good luck!
