Well.....your microwave can Magnetize the Picture tube type TV sets....I'd suggest an LCD TV over the microwave ONLY!!
If it gets magnetized you'll see wierd colors on the TV set....and you don't want a TV tech coming out once or twice a month to De-Magnetize the picture tube...that would get expensive...

I really don't think it is a good idea to put a TV on top of a microwave. I would think that it will interfere with something.

Not exactly. Everytime you use the microwave the TV will make funny noises and look like funny waves are going through it. Can't you set it anywhere else?

Should not be an issue, I got a big commercial microwave at the office and I have a laser printer and satellite receiver on top of it with no issues.
You might see some interference when its running, but thats about it!

not a good idea -- microwave ovens have what is called a magnetron inside -- the magnetic field produced by it could cause problems with screen such as lines or spots that can only be removed by degaussing

i suggest not using them at the same time. since microwaves emit small amounts of radiation to vibrate water molecules to heat up foods. and these "microwaves" can mess up the t.v.

The tv should not be near a magnetic field and I think micro waves come under this title. don't they?

Just make sure you do not block the vent on top of the micro wave.
