As a person who is popular, this statement by the baba may disturb the hornets nest. As Telangana is the most raging controversy since quite a while, this statement may not be taken lying down with the proponents of the scheme. All said and done, a state with the same language and culture should not be divided because some part of it is neglected. This problem can always be circumvented if its elected leaders devote enough time for developmental activities in their own places rather than being in Delhi amidst the corridors of power.
But the spiritual leaders should refrain from adding fuel to the already raging fires.

The Main source of revenue for AP is TTD. Once Telangana is given i.e AP is spilt then the revenue generate by TTD goes to Telangana. I would be a great chance for the formation of TRS personel & of course Satya Sai baba's opinion demanding separate telangana is obviously a sin

Yes i agree as baba is god or not he is helping the poor a lot.He should be given importance.Devotees from long distances and around the globe r coming to him to serve and take his blessings but no one in India or andhra don't even care or give importance to his work.If any one offers money for getting his reputation down they can do anything. Like those BBC News transmitted a program on his ashram saying that illegal activities r taking part in his ashrams. why don't that BBC goes in there own country and talk about their own religion.Really our Indian's r bakaras who don't help each other and helps other nationalists. My advise is don't see baba as a god but see him as a good human being. He is doing a lot to serve people but there r rich people who don't even fund a village and solve their problems even there native place.

It is his opinion and he has every right to express his opinion on any issue. I personally don't believe in division, but sometimes division is necessary for better governance.

Expressing political opinions as an individual is one thing, expresssing political opinions as a spiritual leader is another.
And unless he's a resident of the state in question, his opinion is not worth as much as those who must live with this decision.
