Use Vitamin..B-12 it helps with stress.
Make sure you breath through your solo, in and out of your elements...it will help you get though your program. Go to the rink early... and go through your program in your head, make sure you are good and warmed up before you start.
Make sure you stay relaxed.....it helps to wear a head set and listen to music.
Good Luck to you!!

This really worked for me cause I used to get really nervous and now I don't. Take a deep breath in and hold it for 3 seconds. Then breath out for 3 seconds. Do it a few times throughout the day of your competition. Also, don't eat too much right before you compete. And don't think about it too much. The worst part is probably when you're just standing there on the ice waiting for your music to begin. But as soon as it starts, you just go out and do what you do. You can also try tying your skates very slowly. Just make sure you have a lot of time. Concentrate on every pull of the string. It'll help you forget about your nerves. And if you're nervous, admit it. You have no idea how much less nervous you'll feel after that.

I don't know if this will work but it did for me... Okay know how sometimes you decide to do something and get really excited? like you think you are gonna get a new phone, so you are completley obsessed for like a week... and then it fades? well it is sorta like that I had a competition about 6 months ago and about 2 weeks after i started preparing and getting down my routine i got REALLY nervous not kidding it was 5 weeks till my competition and i was freaking out all the time but then i kinda stopped b/c i have no more freak out left in me also it comes and goes. you will be really nervous on the drive over then fine during warmup then nervous when waiting then fine when you get on then nervous when the music starts to play then 1/2 way through you will realize it is really not that bad and then you will be nervous to get everything perfect but then when you finish it is the greatest feeling (especially if you skated a clean program:) but even if you didn't it is something to be proud of the rest is just congratulations and finding out your marks etc. but believe me you want that nervousness b/c it makes it all the more rewarding at the end :) Good Luck! be nervous BUT have fun <333

talk to someone close about it because it calms nerves slighty to talk over the competition, eat well so you don't faint and drink water. before you go on do this exercise it sounds stupid but before dance exams my teacher told me this and it really helped me. imagine that you are sitting on top of the world in a bubble which is protecting you from everything and that nothing bad to you can happen while you are in it. close your eyes and visulise this while taking deep breaths. try not to lose sleep over it im sure you will do fine. worrying is as effective as chewing gum to help you solve an algebra equation. all you can do to help yourself is no your program. lots of luck xox

Hold your breath and tense up your stomach muscles for a few seconds then exhale strongly take some deep breaths and repeat again if you need to. There's something scientific about it that gets rid of adreneline and should help.
You can also tense every part of your body staring from your feet to your head and holding the tense for a few seconds each to relax your muscles.
Hope you do good!

Know your program inside and out. There is something called muscle memorization, which means that you do something naturally without thinking extremely hard...so if you are nervous your body already knows what it is going toto come next. Practice, practice, practice...the better you know the program the more you can concentrate on where your eyes, head, and arms are because you know your feet are doing the correct steps. Good luck in your show!

What helps me is to warm up before hand. When I compete with my synchro team, we actually jog and stretch for about 10 minutes before we skate. Exercise really helps! Just dont overdo it because you gotta go out there and skate and you dont want to be exhausted.

BREATHE! drink lots of water and dont kid yourself that ur gonna be perfect, but dont think about how bad ur gonna do either. and when u get on that ice, think about everything uve done just to get there. and prove urself to urself and the world that u are the best skater u can possibly be, and give it ur all, every single piece of u. that way there can be no regrets even if u dont when. and if u concentrate on why ur out there, u wont even feel nervous in the first place

Just take a deep breath and relax. You'll be so happy when it's over! Remember to just go out there and give it your best, and don't worry. If you worry you might mess up or forget your program. Pretend like you're just practicing in front of your coach and everything will be fine!
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just take a deep breath.
by the time you start skating you'll forget it.
nerves are good, the one time i wasn't nervous i didn't land a thing.
aswell don't watch the compition; keep away from it as much as you can - if they are really good you'll be thinking theres no point in trying. if they are really bad you'll be thinking your in the medal zone or summit and that could be bad if your actually not.
