it was designed after the jeep,hince fake jeep as a slang for it.

First of all it's not a Land Cruiser. It's called the FJ Cruiser. The Land Cruiser is a more expensive toyota suv that range at $55,000.

It really doesnt stand for anything. 50 years ago, 'F' was used for jeeps with a petrol engine. 'B' was used for jeeps with a diesal engine.
They J means jeep.
(CJ=Civilian Jeep)
