suppose person1 kills person2, which prevented person2 from repenting before he died, what happens to person2's unrepented sins? will person2 still be held accountable for his unrepented sins, or will person1 be the one who will be held accountable for person2's sins, since he's the one who prevented person2 from the possibility of repenting?

what's your opinion about this matter?

If Person 2 (had) the TRUE intention to repent...then it will be regarded as a will / intention which was not fulfilled, BUT STILL IS TAKEN AS A READILY FULFILLED REPENTANCE...

Person 1 will in all cases have added to his list of sins some additional sins for killing person 2....

Moreover I believe person 2's sins will be transferred to person 1 since he is the reason person 2 did not have the opportunity to demonstrate repentance...

God will know of course what goes inside each & every person's chest / mind; therefore He will show Mercy on person 2; i.e., forgiving his sins which he wanted to delete from his life once and for all prior to being killed...

DOES THAT MAKE SENSE ???

This is the way I regard this matter....It is a crucial issue, and if all people bear this in mind, MURDER will come to a minimal...

I think it matters not if person2 is killed, gets hit by a truck, has a refrigerator fall on him, or has a heart attack. His time has come, and his soul will go to the Summerland along with all the others, for rest and recuperation, before being born again. Once the earthly body dies, the soul no longer is concerned about past mundane deeds on earth and who/what may have been "to blame" for it. Death is accepted as the next step after life, and that's it.

I suppose the real question will be "what was the intention in the heart of person 2"...If God can see that in their heart they are sorry for their sins and have repented between themselves and God and were waiting or on their way to a priest to confess, then God will look at that favourably.
But if person 2 had no intention nor sorrow for repentance, then regardless of how they died, they will have to face the Lord's throne of Judgement.

Person1 holding responsibility for person2 sins??? hhhmmm....unlikely, given that each one is responsible for their own deeds and actions...
besides, He has a sin of murder on his hands, He has enough to worry about.

Above all things, we should never enter the realm of judgement, and clearly say who goes in and out of heaven...Judgement is an honor that is bestowed to God Himself, no one else. and Even when I priest (speaking of apostolic churches like catholicism & orthodoxy) reads the absolution to a confessor, He is merely asking God to forgive the sin, by the power of the Holy Spirit that is vested within him...But just FYI, if I go to priest confessing a sin that I am not repentant for, and I manage to trick him in think so and he reads the absolution for me, the Holy Spirit can see what the reality is, and in that instant I have carried more weight in the way of judgdment before God for I tried to Trick the priest and the Holy Spirit.

I hope this helps...God bless.

first off, you don't go straight to hell or heaven when you die. instead, your soul just leaves your dead body which is now incapable of hosting this life-energy called "soul" and returns to the life-giver up there. it is in a passive state. not to be restored to an active state until all dead humans, past and future, is ressurected and their souls restored to them at the second coming of christ. the faithful will reign with jesus in a 1000 year rule over all humans who ever lived that did not know jesus or haven't have the chance to change, including person1 and person2.

Whether person 1 or 2 sins, the path to God through Christ.
Let Christ worry about their sins. if they are truly sinful and reject Christ...I pray for them. Only the Lord knows what is in the heart. Repent now before it's too late and you must truly accept Christ as your Savior.

Each man will be taken into account for his deeds. The victim will take his rightful compensation from the murderer by taking any good deeds he has away so that when it comes time to weigh deeds on the scale, the murderer will be found lacking. God said vengence is mine. Christ will not intercede for any man, in fact will himself be questioned about his doings and whether he told man to worship him. All you who have no belief in a soul think about this: "Is not He who created you from naught the first time able to reassemble your bones again? ". All you will be called into account, in fact, you have so denied your own soul that it will be denied you in the hereafter.

when you stand before the throne of God to answer for you life there will be no blaming others for your "Too short life" the time to repent is now and its strictly between you and God. He will make sure you don't Die until you have had your opportunities. Do you really think that a God capable of creating life & universe can't manage a few billion lives to give everyone there opertunities. the trouble is you are thinking of God like he has limitations there is more unknown about his ways then there is known

We are all responsible for our own sins - regardless. None of us knows when we will die. Because of this it is up to us to ensure our own places in Heaven and not count on some death bed quick fix.

person 1 will not be held accountable for person 2's actions.
person 1 will be held accountable for his own actions
person 2 will be judged and then will live in heaven or in hell
and i am sick of people saying that there is no proof that there is a soul, because there is also no proof that there ISNT....so how could you rule out the possibility??!!
