I didn't. My standards were way too high in school. I also wanted to have something to bring in the relationship, which I didn't have when I was in school. Don't worry. You will still be so young when you graduate. You have plenty of time.

I didn't date until freshman year in college when I moved to the dorms. Woohoo! I was just too shy in high school. The parents set me up junior year to take the girl across the street to her Senior prom. But honestly - that was the extent of my "dating" in high school. It felt lonely and I wondered if I would ever find anyone who would be interested in dating me. Just don't get too bummed out about it. And keep focused on activities that make you happy - music, sports, whatever. The good thing about some awkward geekiness in highschool is that it saves you from the complications of relationships. If I had found a seriously interested girlfriend in high school - I don't know how I would have all the stuff I needed to do to get in to a good college! I was more ready for it all at 18 than at 15-16 - that's for sure.

Most of my friends and I went through high school without dating anyone. Group outings were great. Otherwise, we were focused on our personal and intellectual development, not on hooking up.
At 22, I married, and have been married for 23 years.

Me, my parents won't let me date until I'm 17-18, and then I'll be out of high school, so meh. It sucks, but it will just make the first person you date all the more special.

I didn't date anyone until after a graduated. About 5 months after I graduated to be precise.
You are not alone. I'm 27 and have had several relationships, it just happens that I'm single now.

Yes, I worked out but had a hard time with my weight. Couldn't make the football team. Girls only
cared about and wanted to date the big football
jocks.

I went through, junior high, and high school with out dating, or doing drugs, and drinking.
It's possible and not as rare as you think.

I didnt date until im out of high school.....but i do have crushes and thats about it..studies are more important when your in high school....date when the time is right...
