One large enough to hold a decent length of 27 pound test lead core line. I usually lake fish. Reel must have a line out clicker and also would you recommend a level wind reel? I have been considering an Abu Garcia but have no opinion on the size. Thanks

You dont want to use a level wind with lead core, it'll wear the guide in no time. AVET is my favorite. Made in USA with USa made parts. Excellent warrantee. I have 4 and they are literally bomb proof. NO PLASTIC.

Nowdays u can use any size reel .. as long as it is strong ofcourse and of good quality.

All u gotta do is change to braid line .. it is extremely thin so a 30lb breaking strain of braid will be of a diameter of a 2lb breaking strain monfilament .... even the smallest of reels (float match reels) could be used !!!!!!!!

(try berkley whiplash braids)
