I want to preserve the little flowers that I got on my birthday cake, they are made from iceing, does anyone know the best way to preserve them without them falling apart or growing mold?

It depends on what kind of iceing was used to make the flowers if they are butter cream freezing will work best. if made with royal iceing just place in an air tight box.

I did a icing flower from my wedding cake with pantene pro-v extra hold hair spray...no joke. I sprayed it everyday for a week and its still rock hard after all these years.

You can keep the top layer of your wedding cake in a zero degree Fahrenheit freezer indefinitely

Try some of that canned polyurethane. Its sprays like a can of paint. I suggest thin layers rather than one heavy coat.
Good luck!
