NOT counting the obvious liver and other problems associated with the acetaminophen, as that is another issue all together. i know it is usualy perscribed in 5, 10 and 15 mg tablets. so i guess this is more of a hydrocodone question.

im not trying this or some kind of junkie, just have a hobby of drugs and how they interact with the body. :)

The problem is you can't separate the acetaminophen from the hydrocodone. Some methods have been used on the street, but they're not all that effective.

As little as 4000mg of acetaminophen can kill an adult, but it usually takes higher amounts - 10 grams (10,000 mg) or more.

Hydrocodone is more nebulous. If a person has no history of using opioids, as little as 40mg could be dangerous. Yet, in patients that are tolerant, such as cancer patients, I've seen as much as 200mg given a day, which would kill a non-opioid tolerant person.

Hope this helps.

The answer depends on whether or not the person has already been taking vicodin. For someone who has never taken it, it would take a lot less med to be lethal, than say a chronic pain patient who has been taking vicodin for years may be able to take the same dosage and still function normally! It depends on the individual's tolerance to the drug.

It depends TOTALLY on the person and how tolerant they are to the narcotic. And you don't want to go overr 7,000 MG of acetiminophen a day, or 7 grams. Depending on the person, one could take between 5-80 milligrams of hyrdrocodone a day for pain-killing properties. And some drug-addicts could handle up to 150 milligrams of hydrocodone a day or more!

it is the tylenol or acetaminophen that is more harmful to you in the long run, in excessive amounts...... than the narcotic hydrocodone in vicodin.....more than 20 mgs of hydrocodone in one dose is getting to be a dangerously high dose...and it is dependant on the tolerance level of the individual, that determines a harmful or even lethal dose after that point....but i am NOT RECOMENDING that you experiment or ever take more than the doctor prescribes...he and only he alone can get you healed and restore your health, so listen to the doktar...he knows! DO NOT play with fire, you will get scortched! vicodin is not a joke my dear!

hahaha that girl said 20mg! hahaha 30mg is a low recreational dose for someone with no tolerance.

im assuming your asking about someone with no tolerance.. with a tolerence someone could tolerate probably 500mg

back in the day i had a small tolerance(compared to some) and took 100mg (there was no tylenol) and barely felt it. so i would imagine a heroin addict could take 300-500mg.

with no tolerence... hmm... prolly like 100mg would be getting dangerous.. thats a very educated guess.. but a guess none the less.

im going to assume u know full well how bad tylenol is for you.. 4 grams a day is the limit... and they arent fooling around with that limit.

even as a hobby I don't think you should know this. If it really is a hobby look it up in a Physician's Desk Reference book, or ask a pharmacist.

If you are talking about a one time overdose, vicodin by itself isn't lethal. Vicodin mixed with other things (alcohol, sleeping pills, speed, heroin, crack, etc.) is what kills people.

It depends on many many fators..
The closest you would get is an LD50, and I am not even sure how accurate that would be..
