If the Gold was really from 49 BC, it would not have said 49BC. In the year 49 BC, they called it something else, not 49 Before Christ. In order to call it BC, you would have to be in AD first. I'm sure there is other ways, but this one is the most obvious.

Coins weren't inscribed with anything/anytime "BC" because the term/concept "Before Christ" didn't exist until AFTER Christ!

because at that time frame, Christ didnt exist. They wouldnt have inscribed 49BC if they didnt know about him yet. That is how he knew it was a fake. Think about it?!
