the cabbage soup is all vegetables, and water, so probably not a heck of a lot of calories. but from experience i can tell you that the diet doesn't work well, and is definitely not enough calories to lose weight permanently. the best way is to increase calories (1600-1800 a day works well) and eat 5-6 small meals a day...even if a meal consists of a meal replacement bar 2x a day, plus 3 meals....there are numerous plans like this that can work....good luck!

Cabbage soup has very little calories, about 50 per serving. That said, it is a crash diet, which means you will put all the weight back on as soon as you stop the soup diet.

the way this diet works is it causes you to have diarrhea and you lose the weight but you will gain it back when you eat regular and if you stay on the cabbage soup diet too long you will lose needed nutrients and vitamins and become dehydrated from all the crappin' that you're doin'.My mom used to do that diet when she wanted to lose a quick 20 pounds or so but she would gain it back and a little more a few months later. Your body need a variety of food and this is not the diet for that. Please respect yourself enough to change your life to acquire the desired look you want. ex. diet and exercise. no quick fixes in this life. just do what you gotta do, and when you fall get back up dust yourself off and do it again

Cabbage???? YUMMY!!!!

Yes this soup is delicious!!! And so easy!!!

1 cabbage, 1 big onion,1 chicken bouillon, water

In a deep pot place the cabbage already cut,(take the inside part out). Pour water and sprinkle, the chicken bouillon 1 or 2 on top. Cover. Medium heat to low, until tender. You can add a table spoon of tomatoes sauce, and some black pepper or hot sauce, to taste. You can even add anything you want to it!!!

Delicious, healthy, hot, goes perfect with soda crackers.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.
