for the most part, everyone is just a capable as commiting every specific sin the bible speaks of

everyone, to some degree, has felt compulsion to steal something that they know is not theirs.

all married adults have felt the desire to commit adultery. i don't think many people can say that they have never had a adulterous thought.

you might not think it, but in differing degrees, almost eveyone could find themselves blaspeming god or feeling desire to do so. If you had a very bad life, even if you remained faithful to god and his plan, you would have certainly had to fought the desire to curse god for such an unfortunate situation given to you.

why are there so few people cursed with the temptation of homosexual acts? why do most all other humans have absolutely no (zero) sexual interest in being homosexual?

Good question. The answer of course is because for the most part, homosexuals are BORN that way.

Speaking hypothetically. We are tempted to sin every waking moment. If I understand what your asking, it's natural to be what we were created to do by God. We mate & populate. I know that going through puberty some adjustments are made so to speak.. Some people experiment, it scares them, and confuses them(boys&girls). Consequently I would have to conclude that it must be a hormonal or some chemical imbalance, that causes homosexual activity. Two people of the same sex cannot physically reproduce.

This answer does not reflect on my freinds. I work in an industry highly populated with homosexuals. The tragedy of this is I have lost numerous friends to Aids. I miss them.

The answer depends on if you believe the Bible. The bible says man is born into sin, this world is full of sin and evil influence. You went over afew of the basics, but you need to back track and think what cuases these thoughts to begin with, just where do those out there influences come from in your mind?

If you believe in the bible it tells you where and why, and how. Demonic influence, you dont have to be posessed to be affected, The greatest deception as i said in another post is the word "I" they put I in front of a influenced thought and you accept it as your own.

Homosexuality is a more intense form of demonic influence, and in some cases posession from perversion, and no, despite holly woods idea of it, your head does not have to be spinning to be posessed, this can occur , and most often does on a much more subtle level, If the person is held captive alread why would the influence want to be exposed?

Satans greatest accomplishment was getting many to think he wasnt even real, and in so doing discrediting God.

Well if your assumption is right, that is less people are tempted to engage in homosexual behavior.

I think the reason would be related to cultural acceptance. Culture tempts us a lot more to participate in the other sins. Also, homosexuality in a lots of ways is still taboo. Therefore, less people would even dare think about it. However, an affair, is rather common place. Many people probably view an affair as something "normal" and that every marriage should expect. Which I promise you that is not the case.

Actually per Kinsley, Masters and Johnson-most adults have fantasied about homosexuality. Per studies there is no firm line between straight and gay lifestyles. The two forms are seen more as a bell curve with only about 2% of either the gay or straight population being strictly gay or straight. Far more are in varying degrees of bi-sexuality.

They do but don't admit it, especially men and especially men who are married. The other acts you have described are not seen as unmanly, and at least for men with the temptation of a homosexual affair. To either do homosexual acts or to be caught in the act, might be thought of as unmanly, depending on their background.

Men fear homosexuality largely because others would think it to be a threat to their masculinity -- so fear of exposure is a very strong deterrent against homosexual behavior. You don't often see gay or bisexual men announce their sexual orientation in church or even in a men's group associated at the church. Men in church do act out sexually with other men though, most of the time without their wives knowledge or that of fellow parishiners. I have heard of pillars of the church acting like good family men outwardly but then having one-timers with gay or bi guys in their homes. Some are regular visitors to local bookstores or other hangouts where anoymous male-on-male sex goes on; they are often middle aged or older and often "givers" (perform oral sex on other men). In such places, men generally do not talk about what goes on there -- men stick up for each other and generally have an unsaid agreement that they will not talk about others they see there -- or about men whose homes they visit.

I was once very naive and thought all men who were regular churchgoers were straight. Believe me, I no longer believe that.

Because statistics show that at least 80% of the people who identify themselves as having a homosexual orientation either were abused sexually as children or had a domineering mother and a submissive father, or their father was distant and unloving and they had a desire to feel love from a male figure that got twisted into seeking to have that longing filled through unnatural sexual relations.

Homosexuality is neither a "curse" nor a moral issue. People don't have the desire for the same reason that some like chocolate and some like vanilla - preference.

What if I became the question around. could a heterosexual guy or woman only be heterosexual by way of fact of a sexual aversion to adult males? Sexuality has no longer something to do with aversion yet is predicated in basic terms on attraction (or want, in case you will) or the shortcoming thereof.

These are the kind of Christians you true Christians need to educate. They won't listen to us, but even you guys know that judging someone to that degree is very degrading. Why would you even begin to think that this train of thought is at all Jesus like. This is a horrible way to treat your fellow human. There is nothing Jesus like in this statement.

Sexual temptation comes to everyone, as you said, but not everyone's sexual urges have the same object. I presume homosexuals aren't tempted to sin sexually with the opposite gender. It's the same coin, just the other side of it.
