Yes, people still get vaccinations. Children between the ages of 2 mos. and 3 years get the most. There are some adults who get the flu vaccine and there are other booster shots that people may get. I had to get an MMR vaccination after I gave birth to my first child. Blood tests prooved that I didn't have an immunity. People get immunizations due to the possible complications from diseases. If a baby is exposed to pertussis and has not had a chance to be immunized, it could be deadly for that child. We had recently had a pertussis (whooping cough) outbreak in a city north of us. Last year, a baby (only 30 days old) had died from complications of pertussis.
While it is true that some people don't get immunizations, it makes it that much harder and riskier for children in daycares and schools. Those who have not ben vaccinated run the risk of infecting those who have not been vaccinated yet due to age restrictions. Not only that, strains of different diseases DO actually mutate and cause more havoc.

Yeah, unfortunately. I personally don't, but I know of alot that do. The Flu vaccination is the biggest one I know of. And, its also the biggest fraud. The past 5 years straight, the Flu shot hasn't protected against the strains that were/are currently out. Not only that, but all the other ones either don't protect you, or, they make something else go wrong so you have to have more shots.
That whole bird flu thing was a complete lie. There is no way that the bird flu could contract to humans unless someone actually fused it to a strain that humans are affected by. Which, happened. Then everyone was in a hurry to get the flu shots, even though the shots actually wouldn't have helped. So yeah, people still get vaccinations, but, I highly suggest not doing so.

It depends on the vaccination you are talking about, but vaccinations in general are still given.
