Muslims do not believe in the Bible, only the Koran.
So why would they even comment on these verses? I understand being a Christian that we are safe in the hands of Jesus and no one can harm us.

There are now more than 60 versions of the Bible(Different versions not translations The different versions of the Bible are not merely different translations, but are actually versions i.e. they add and remove things from other versions)
These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man's ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect

Actually to me : it means that God gives and takes the souls away and no body can harm the soul. God is greater than all is almost said in every religion except for those satanist and some others that believe in equation of God/ Devil powers and the battle in between.
The same soul is given to human as God's.
But I believe neither of the holy books are written by God himself. These books are here either to help or are abused by some for denial . In fact God has left the traces and the writings on Evey leaf, creature , nature.
Take it easy, don't be too fussy.

This is a verse in the bible that refers to Jesus's sayings.
In the first hes basically saying, God, who created me and who has sent me to these people, is greater than anyone and when He takes care of those people, as a punishment, no one will be able to save them out of His hand. Hand here is a figurative speech.
In the second one Jesus is referring to the way he and God are connected. They are one, meaning he has submitted himself to God so much so that he does nothing out of his own accord, what he does, is exactly what God is making him do.
This however is in a spiritual plane, and cannot be the same as being one with god in a fleshly manner. As it is, God does not share His power and dominion with anyone. And no one has the claim and share of Gods power. Jesus never claimed he shared Gods power. If he had claimed that, he would have said that he had the power to bring everything from the dead. He said the opposite as far as I know. He said it all happened with Gods power. Everything he says in the bible, goes hand in hand in what the Quran says.

I think a lot of Christians use the quote me and my father are one. But as Muslims see it if you see it in context then you can clearly see that that verse does not mean they are same person.

I don't understand, either, why Muslims proclaim Jesus to be a great prophet but don't believe a word He said.
