You can contact the California Department of Fish and Game. I couldn't find a schedule specifically for the OC, but I did find this, and it's the site I've used in the past when I've wanted to go. They only have last year's schedule posted, but I can't imagine it would be that different for 2007. I don't know of good places in your area, but I know most of the beaches in San Diego are full of them when it's grunion season. Pacific Beach (PB) is a good one to try.
Good luck and have fun! It's such a neat experience to go and see, if you've never been. And it's even more fun when you bring a lot of friends and have a bonfire and make s'mores. :)

There is a grunion program offered to the public at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro on several nights of the season. Call (310) 548-7562 for details.
I'm from NYC. Went to San Diego once in June and saw folks at night grabbing for grunions. Never seen anything like it in my life. Heard about silver hake washing a shore on Long Island, NY in the early 60s while they chased baitfish. Folks then called them frostfish. That hasn't happen here in over 40 years. Let's hope the grunions don't run into the same fate.

Oh my god, I wish there was a cut and paste answer for this question. There is no such thing as a "Teacup"! Absolutely none, not one, kennel club recognizes the "teacup" size in any breed standard. The term teacup is used by unscrupulous breeders to sell unhealthy, unfit runts to unsuspecting buyers at an inflated price. I know this sounds cruel, but a legitimate, reputable breeder would not have allowed a "teacup" size puppy to be sold, they would have humanely destroyed it at birth. Sickly animals should not be sold, and they should never be bred. But if you really want a sickly, unhealthy, undersized dog, I am sure of you just Googled it, you would find thousands of back yard breeders willing to help you spend your money. Ohh, Patient Paws, I can't stop laughing at your answer. I actually wish someone would hit the posters of these idiotic questions with a brick. If I had a nickel for every time I have repeated the same mantra about "teacups" I would be rich.
