I made a nice card with a poem I wrote for my boyfriend for our first-date anniversary coming up. Would it be weird if I also gave him a little stuffed bunny? I call him my honey bunny and he says I'm his ski bunny (lol don't ask). Anyways, I think it'd be cute if I did.

But is there some "unwritten law" that says guys can't receive stuffed animals? Are stuffed animals only for girls?

If your in late teens to mid 20's, I don't see it as weird. Especially with the ski bunny thing, and don't worry I'm not gonna ask. Now on the other hand, if your pushing 40, you might lay off the Stuffed Bunny.

It wouldn't be weird, at least I don't think so. Some guys might not like it, but since bunny is a pet name you have for each other I think it would be cute.
Here is another thing though...some guys don't remember dates really well, especially things like "first date anniversary" or "our first kiss anniversary" or whatever. So unless he has mentioned it too, or you have been dropping some mad hints, don't be too disappointed if he doesn't remember. Its a guy thing.

How old are you guys?

I think stuffed animals are cute, I think he'd like it especially if he loves you and if you guys have little nicknames for each other relating to little bunnies. Everytime he looks at it, he will most likely think of you! I think you should give it to him but explain your reasoning behind it! Good luck!

Go ahead and give him the bunny, but since there's an inside joke attached and not everyone would get it, it would be best if you gave it to him privately. As in not in front of his pals and buddies. that way, he doesn't have to worry about looking silly or childish. There's just you and he can act like himself. I think that is a good idea, especially since it has a story attached.

My boyfriend's not the mushy type but I gave him a stuffed bear once (a spur of the moment thing) and notice he keeps it by his bed. I asked about it once and he said he looks at it and thinks of me when he misses me. So yeah, I think your bf will appreciate it. That's what bf/gfs do. Doing cute things like that is not weird, it's sweet.

Nothing says you can't give him a "stuffed Bunny". Give him whatever you want to give him. Actually I think it's cute. I'm sure he will love it! Congrats on your anniversary!

I played defensive tackle for my football team in college. I hunt, work on my own car and fix my house. Yes I am quite manly.

I also had a gf give my a stuffed bear once. I thought it was great.
