but remember, looks aren't everything.

Years ago, it was difficult for many women to be percieved as beautiful if they WEREN'T blond and blue-eyed, voluptuous - and a little ditzy. Most models and actresses went to great lengths to achieve that standard.. and most guys (especially the younger ones) wished for girlfriends who looked like Marilyn Monroe.... Over time (and with a little help from the media) other standards of beauty became acceptable - and often, DESIREABLE. Right now, I think that looking a little "punky" is appealing to SOME young men - but, keep in mind that styles change. What looks good now might not be so "all that" in a year or two. (Want proof? Ask a family member who is over 30 to drag out an old high-school picture. Most of them will laugh at their own hairstyles - and the clothes they thought were sooo very cool at the time the picture was taken.) Another thing is this: These days, guys seem to have a much more varied idea of what is attractive. Different guys like different things - and that's GOOD. (At least girls don't have to conform to ONE idea of what is pretty - and hopefully, in the future, people will learn to see the unique beauty that is in EVERY girl - somewhere) In your case, it sounds as though you've been meeting guys who happen to prefer brunettes. Or maybe, you should ask a friend if your BEHAVIOR around guys could use a little tweaking... (Are you too shy? too loud? too unfriendly? too ANYTHING?) One more possibility: You're paying so much attention to the guys who like the brunettes, you're missing the cute guy way over in the corner who's looking at you..... and wishing you'd turn around and notice HIM !!!!
