It is also the empty cross that gives Christians hope as well as the empty tomb!

Some Christians (and non-Christians) wear them because they want to. Other Christians (and non-Christians) don't wear them because they don't want to. It isn't the empty tomb that gives me hope; that's just a symbol, like the cross. It's the difference Jesus has made in my life that lets me KNOW He's the real deal.

Empty tomb gives nothing. Crosses represent Son of God willingly giving His life for sinners. Empty tomb means He has been raised from the dead. Bible talks about other people raised from the dead but refers to Jesus as first fruit. Others raised from dead died again,, Jesus will never die again. Good ????????

It isn't just an empty tomb that gives hope. Actually, I would say it really has little to do with the tomb at all.
The tomb was necessary to fufill the scriptures.
The cross (or symbol of one) stands as a reminder of what happened, what Christ did for all of us.
It is the sacrifice of Jesus, in death, which atones mankind for all his sins. And this, we need to be reminded of.

its isnt the empty tomb, its what the cross stood for. It is the symbol of the trials of the Lords only Son, Jesus Christ in an endeavor to ensure eternal salvation for all peoples no matter their crimes against humanity or themselves

1) The cross reminds them of Christ's sacrifice of love for us. A token of love some wear over their heart, if you would.
2) It's a much simpler symbol than an empty tomb, I think.

Because it is Christ's death on the cross that got the real job done.

He had to die on the cross for our sins. If He didn't die, how could he rise from the tomb? We have to remember His amazing sacrifice, not just the fact that He rose from the dead.
