i have some questions about proactiv

- how much will it cost each month

- is it possible to use less so it lasts longer (or do they just send u it every month anyway)

- if you get the 30 day trial and you dont like it, what happens if you decide not to buy more?

- can you stop your subscription (or whatever you'd call it) at any time?

- is the 3 step system good enough or should i get the other things too?

-what's the difference between the kinds of proactiv? example: moisture system, oil control system, 5 piece or 3 piece system

thanks so much i'll give 10 points to the best answer

They have the automatic mailing of the system every other month for a charge of $19.99 a month. You can cancel at any time if you decide it's not for you. If the 3 step is good enough and if you can use less to last longer reallly depends on your skin type. From what I've heard Proactiv isn't right for everyone. I personally like to use the repair lotion the most. So if I'm running low on cash I just buy that and use that. The moisture system would be for peopele with dry skin and oil control for people with oily skin. The three piece comes with the wash, toner and repair lotion. The 5 piece comes with those three plus the refining mask and daily oil control. My suggestion would be to go to your local mall and try it to see if it works for you then you can go from there.

[how much will it cost each month] - Honestly, you do not need to renew your kit every month. It cost me about $120 CAN. Do not join the membership. Mine has lasted me about 5-7 months because you need to use very little.

[is it possible to use less so it lasts longer (or do they just send u it every month anyway)] - DON'T JOIN THE MEMBERSHIP! Order whenever you feel the need.

[if you get the 30 day trial and you dont like it, what happens if you decide not to buy more?] - For legal reasons, I do not think they will allow you to buy more over the membership or whatever. That's like eating a doughnut, paying for it, then complaining it sucked, getting your money back and buying it again. No company is insane enough to let you do that.

[can you stop your subscription (or whatever you'd call it) at any time?] - Yes.

[is the 3 step system good enough or should i get the other things too?]- Depends upon your problems. For now, you are not to buy anything more than the three step system. See how that works for a year, and if you still have scars, etc, buy the lightening lotions. But the 3-step worked perfectly for me.

[what's the difference between the kinds of proactiv? example: moisture system, oil control system, 5 piece or 3 piece system] - For you, that is not very relevant. The 5 piece is very expensive and not something I would reccomend experimenting with. The moisturizing system is targeted towards people with flaky acne prone skin.
Do what I suggest - buy the 3-step, use it and if you don't like it, try something else! But the 3-step is the "standard" system and is for a variety of people.

Make sure you test for allergic reactions! You will get cystic pimples, boils and rashes if you are allergic to benzoyl peroxide.

The peroxide will make you more prone to sun damage -- wear sunscreen.
And the ingrediants dry the skin out, so take some time to exfoliate/moisturize.

GOOD LUCK. :]

well first of all, the refining mask should only be used for no longer than 10 minutes. maybe even less. proactive works, but it drys up ur face, which is why, you always need to moistorize. another thing, is only wash with proactive once a day, probably at night cuz thats when your face is the dirtiest. too much product makes things worse!

I used to do that every month, i think it was about $60 for the whole thing. im not sure though...i think it would be cheaper to just get them all seperate. if your mall has a little stand that has proactive on it, then thats probably the way to go. all that you really need is the cleanser, the toner, and the repairing lotion. and yes, you can cancel your subsciption. even if they send you one, you can send it back.

hope that helped,
good luck =]
