I know I have thyroid problems...but I'm on meds for that. I am just exhausted all the time. I get at least 8 hours of sleep a night and I try to eat as healthy as possible. I'm a full-time college student, so I stay busy, but I never have energy to do anything. What's wrong with me? What can I do?

Of course, as many have advised you on this site, you must make an appointment to see a doctor as soon as you can. Ask the doctor if he/she could order a blood test for you.

Besides checking your thyroid function again, the test should also check your blood count (hemoglobin). Low hemoglobin count may make you lethargic as well.

Some people do not get enough vitamins through their diet while others may have vitamin deficiency because their digestive system cannot absorb them. In the latter case, the doctor may prescribe vitamin shots, patches or inhalants as appropriate.

See your doctor soon!

There could be any number of reasons why your always tired. You may want to speak to a physician and get a thorough check up.
You may get 8 hours sleep at night, but is it quality sleep?
It sounds silly, but you may need a new mattress, it's amazing how much a good mattress can do for you. Also, lately I tend to feel, it's just part of being human. You need to find some stress relievers that work for you eg. a hot relaxing bubble bath, or a long nights stroll in the fresh air. Whatever works for you.

I would see if your thyroid is too low again. Mine was stable for 2 years, then suddenly my thyroid meds had to be tripled.
Also, you may be anemic.

I would check with your doc and see if the medication causes fatigue.

Regardless of if it does or not, if you think that is what is causing the problem then ask him for an alternative.

You might need to get your medication adjusted. I'm also in college, so it could also be that because I'm always tired too.
