What would happen to the economy of the USA if all illegal immigrants are brought back to their countries?

I think there is a reason why the U.S hasn’t done this yet. Most of illegal immigrants work for low wages, pay taxes, and don't collect any type of benefits from the U.S (not like they should).
I think illegal immigrants have and are putting in a lot to the economy of this country, and not like some citizens that are able to work but prefer not to work and don't put anything toward society and live all their life on welfare, food stamps, section 8… you name it.
I am not pro-illegal immigration. I believe there should be some changes to immigration laws and forgive some of the illegal immigrants already here, kick out the one all the ones that have committed any type of crime, no matter how small, block the border and start over as a free-illegal immigrant country.

A lot of people keep saying that most illegal immigrants are on welfare. As far as I know, you have to be a U.S. citizen to collect welfare, food stamps, Medicaid etc… they do get medical assistance and free public schooling for their children, but that is nothing compare to all the programs out there.
About the taxes, many of them, not all, get a tax ID because they don’t have a social and pay some taxes. The ones that use fake social pay into the social security (which is a retirement system) and they can forget about ever getting a pension for it.
I think a lot of people get very personal or let their emotions control them when talking about this subject… let’s not forget that this country originally belonged to Indians.
For example: when 9/11 happen, I felt like we should had sent 10 nuclear bombs to all Arabic countries, but I later realized that I was wrong. There are a lot innocent people there that don’t have anything to do with these terrorist.

If you honestly believe the immigrants are not receiving the govn't benefits that they should...go hang out at your local health dept. or WIC office & see for yourself just how many immigrants show up.

The Illegals are not paying taxes, nor do they have to if and when they become a citizen. They are exempt for a period of time, and what do you mean they don't get benefits? They are using our healthcare system, thats a benefit, I agree there are plenty of citizens that are a drain on society, but what about all these illegals that are here, that have children in our country, there child are entitled to welfare, so in turn the illegal parents get it. They get a lot more than you speak of. They are very well off in this country and they far from work for low wages. A lot do, but alot make more than you and i combined. I lived with it for about 3 years. They would come into my coffee shop 4-5 times a day trying to buy a $3 coffee and paying with a $100 bill, so they could get change. Why? Because they couldn't go to a bank, and open an account because they were illegal. I think they should all be sent home, and if they want to come, they can not be convicted of any crimes, and then we start letting the honest good ones in.

There would be a boom in our economy! Illegal imigration can bring nothing good to our country. NOTHING !! Adding Illegal imigrants to our economy is like using bad grapes to make good wine. It's impossible!
Our country and it's economy was built and based on laws, and to remain strong it will have to enforce the laws of our country, no matter what any individual thinks he or she is entitled to,just by being here. I have no problem with anyone being in our country, it's the illegal part. just being here should not give an illegal any rights whatsoever. Get legal or go home. Our economy
was and will be just fine without you.
And the part about the welfare and medical, go to any hospital, women's clinic, emergency room,or any microwave in a public place for that matter, and just look around, or try to talk english, and you'll see how many "citizens" are there. WAKE UP!

What?!!? What taxes are they paying, besides sales tax? I know that as a citizen, I am paying about 33% of my income to the IRS. That is a lot of money that illegal immigrants are not having to pay. In all honesty, my only REAL beef with illegal immigrants, is that they don't contribute tax money. People talk about how the economy would fail if all immigrants left, but that is simply not true. So much money would be saved by having *less* social-program-leeches.

I don't know if you've noticed but the face of the U.S economy has been changing. The US is becomming the leader in other sectors now, not just tech. If they are sent back to their countries there would be some issues....but if the U.S Gov works out a system where welfare people fill in the gaps and work a percentage of their year to agriculture then i don't think it would be a big of an issue. Might even help the welfare issue.

Is everyone forgetting how long we have been enjoying cheap labor in this country. To me, this issue is kinda like getting fat. You're enjoying the steaks, twinkies and all that other good stuff that you put in your body. before you know, your weight has skyrocketed 100 lbs. It happens at such a slow rate and you were just "ok" with it for so long, that it wasnt until now that you realize you are a disgusting fat ***. On top of all this your girlfriend is now screaming at you to lose the weight. NOW! or no sex until you fix the problem. We are now at the point of panic where we start trying drastic measures like, the hollywood maricle diets, and the hydroxycuts, and the xenadrines and all the other 100 dollar bottles of non fda approved herbal dietary supplements. 6 weeks have now passed and you are broke. You have also come to the realization that no matter what it is going to take slow change, just as it started to reverse the effects of what you have done. please excuse the spelling and punctuaion errors, as it is now 1 am. I hope everyone can enjoy this story.

Illegal aliens that work for wages "under the table" do not pay taxes, therefore they are not paying into social security, federal income taxes, they are not paying state taxes, or city taxes, they are not paying into the school system, so their children are benefiting frrom those of us that do, highways, or any other "taxes". They frequently do not have insurance. My wife was sideswiped by an illegal alien driving a dump truck with fake insurance. We had to pay the deductible and use our uninsured motorists coverage. At least she wasn't hurt!!!! They do not have health insurance...who pays for their medical care when the illegal aliens, his wife, or children show up at the hospital?? Yes!!!! We that are tax paying citizens. Us theirThe only TAXES they are paying are sales tax when they make a purchase. What taxes are you talking about that Illegal alien pay?? When they steal a Social Security #s and IDs from a legal U.S. citizen???????

This is a myth. Do not confuse the USA or its citizens with big business. Illegals do not work for less, they commit crimes, over populate, sell their own women for a few pesos a night and are too stupid to do something about their own country. They have no pride, can't stand alone and smell bad. It cost the US taxpayers 76 Billion dollars in 2005, in 2006 the cost is estimated at 22% higher. This is a huge problem. If you are an American, act like one, if you are an illegal then show some sand and go back to Mexico and straighten your own country out, don't come begging here like a whipped dog.

Iran has ordered its Latino lap dogs Venezuela and Nicaragua to send terrorist into the US via the Mexican/American border. I suppose that you still support that? Thanks

If they were all deported? HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN!!!!!!! Our economy would improve. CA wouldn't go bankrupt. We wouldn't have to pay BILLIONS of dollars to take care of the criminals. Congress could get back to the business of improving America instead of fighting over how to give amnesty to 20 million illegal alien criminals. Our kids can get a better education because the teachers can teach in English instead of catering to so many non-English speaking kids.

You can't possibly believe that dribble you posted and be old enough to drive a car in this country.
The main thing that would happen is that the economy would sky rocket. Wages that are artificially keep low by ILLEGALS would rise. Single parents could actually afford to spend those extra dollars and the stores and shops could afford to pay their LEGAL employees more, and they would spend more, and so on, and so on,...
This economy would be BOOMING again in less than six months.
ILLEGALS, read CRIMINALS, do absolutly nothing for the economy. On the contrary, they drag us down.

Well this country is nothing without the illegal alliens, cause all citizens are too lazy to do the jobs they do. Who does all the construction? all the hard work?
