Yes. I feel tamil, english and hindi should me made compulsary in TN. People have to keep travelling across the country and outside; so language is an important weapon for that. And learning hindi & english does NOT mean that tamil is not respected, etc. So learning multiple languages is a must.

Yes, definitely it should be compulsory. The people do not know hindi are facing problem not only in India but also in some foreign countries also. Hence it is necessary to change our educational system to make hindi,english and tamil as compulsory language from primary education onwards. Because of not knowing hindi, some of the intelligent persons are not able to survive in the places other than tamil nadu

Hi!
I accept what you say, but with some reservations.
People from tamilnadu esp from rural areas suffer when they go to North India bcoz they know either hindi nor english.
What I feel is: Let us have Tamil and English compulsory from std 1 to 10. Tamil bcoz we should know our mother tongue and respect such a wonderful language; English bcoz it is a universal langauge and one can survive anywhere in the world if they know english.
As far as hindi is concerned, I think we can it as compulsory from Std 5 to Std 8. Where in they will taught all basics, grammar, reading, writing etc;

Why should we decide what language one should learn. Let us say every student must study 3 languages from the list of languages. Depending upon the need they will choose them. Naturally the 3 languages mentioned will be their choice to meet regional , national and international employment requirements. If you give the chance to politicians to decide they will create troubled water to fish. No one can raise any objection if the choice is made by the student. You need not be afraid that if people prefer other languages to provide teachers is going to be a problem. That problem can always be solved because it will not have major support.

Sorry i do not imagine it is going to capture on. It comes between flag day on June 14, and Fathers day, the 21st of June. in case you want yet another holiday how about October 10th "10-4 good chum" or or March third (Pi day) 3.14. I were campaigning for decades to have lately proclaimed nationwide holiday journeys. each body isn't actually inspired, about which days are holiday journeys. as far as nationwide mans' day, rather some the human beings, rather the girls, will probably purely bypass on doing what they continually do.
