Ok so I'm on track and feild and we run everyday even in the summer in the morning and nights for 2 miles 6 days a week my fastest time for 2 miles is 5 minutes no joke ask my coach there are better people on my team but I'm in the middle

4:52 at age 16 in 1980 - ran a 5k in 16:30. I wasn't really that slow, but at the time the state champion was on my high school team, and I'd get lapped in the two-mile.
That was a long time ago. If you're a runner, I recommend you never stop running - it's really tough to get back in to shape.

My best time is a 6:10 mile, which at my school is pretty good for a girl and I ran that last xc season, when I was 16. Pretty proud of it actually-first time I ran a mile in xc it was like a 10 minute mile, so I'd say I've improved a little bit. :)

when i was 17 i ran a mile in 8 mins for the physical fittness test for the military i was pretty impressed but im not sure how fast i am now considering its now 2 miles instead of 1

Senior year in high school, 4.53.7. Broke 5 minutes just the once and that was 40 years ago. And I finished 7h out of 8 runners...
