Ask yourself what the very first words of the first book of the OT are in the King James version of the Bible.

Most folks will give the two most prevalent and obivous answers.

1. Genesis
or
2. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

But in fact the very first words of the first book ot the OT in the KJV are, The First Book of Moses, Called Genesis.

This title implies to me that it is a book written from stories told in oral tradition. It also implies that no other book in this subsquent context was written before it to substantiate his claim.

One of the reasons that god was created was to answer all of those unknown scientific questions. Now that science has been doing a pretty good job, there are far fewer things for god to be responsible for. Perhaps people are finally getting more rational?

Individual of us do have different experiences from different places. Each of us have different way of thinking, therefore different people have different judgment of religion. We are different for a reason and that's what make this universe so special. We shall appreciate our differentiation. You can't force them to believe for what you believe.

I guess they just look for Him in all the wrong places.

Like earth, and the solar system. Instead of their hearts. So they get disappointed and think Hes not there.

You? Youre just a wannabe :)

Fear, mostly. Sort of a derivative of Pascal's Wager.

when God (the one in Heaven not some poser) created us we were created with a desire to know Him

Matthew 7:8
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
