Any plan to eradicate poverty form India, will have to take into account two factors:-

1) Population control

2) Agricultural and industrial production..

As long as the above two measures are not taken simultaneously and expeditiously, eradication of poverty in India, will remain a pipe dream.

to eradicate poverty from a country as vast as india having the 2nd largest population is just like eradicating dirty politics & the politicians. We choose & elect this bad men to run our country who makes the gap wide & deep bet. the rich & poor.
All the millionaires & billionaires in our great country shl;oud from a panel under the leadership of our great ,humble & honest president dr.shri A P J kalam to work out a dashing plan to provide good education & occupation for the below poverty line youths of our country.it will be ofcourse a daunting task but not an impossible one. No politician shld be involved in this "RichIndia" project.good & visionary business men, economists, top rated educationists, one holy saint from each religion & other like wise illuminaries within the country & NRI's shld be involved in this project.
India is a country of chaos, indiscipline, serpentine traffics, dirtyness & garbages spread all over... we can teach/hire/employee ppl from the lower background to help clear this mess by proper plannings not like the BMC ways. Thus we can rise step wise for jobs/employments etc & satrt creating earning oppurtunities for the so called poverty stricken ppl.

I am so not worried about eradicating poverty from anywhere except where I live, IN THE UNITED STATES!! We need to eradicate poverty, homelessness, medically uninsured people from our country before helping others. This is only my opinion and I guess it may be the opinion of others in different countries, regarding their own people as well, so please don't hate on me for my opinion.

Not even a single country is fully developed.Poverty cannot be removed fully in any country but surely it can be reduced to a lower percentage by starting agro-based industries in rural sector and by working on the infrastructural development in rural area and by providing employment opportunitites for the poor.

All rich people ( who has more than 85grams of Gold as wealth) should give their 2.5% of the savings (extra money) to poor people. This should be kept as a Fund in a Trust in each location, spent on core issues like education, health care etc. I know certain people like Bill Gates, Rajni Kanth are doing this already. And muslims have to do this as one of their duties.
