What happens when you perform exorcism? What happens to the possessed and the demon? Is it real?

the Vatican closely guards their philosophies about Exorcisim.
so the Christian theories behind it are hard to come by.
I am a Pagan Priest, and Spiritual cleanser. I remove Negative entities from people's homes when asked to do so. My partner is a Medium.
it can be done without the medium, but is much easier when she is present, as to how it is done it is really hard to explain, it is kind of like a mental battle between me and the entity. it will try to scare me, or to make me waver in my faith of my gods. and all the while i am useing my energy to push it our of the area, and back acrost the void where it belongs. in some cases imprisonment in a crystal or reflective stone is used.
in a basic cleansing, my Partner, will poen herself up to anything in the area. a negative entity wants nothing more than a mortal body to inhabit. with her open it is like a giant demon magnet.
then once there she uses her energy to trap them in her body and prevent them from escaping, to caom back another day.
i expend energy to weaken it and to force it out of her body and into a prepaired stone or crystal, where it is bound for a year and a day.
afterwhich the stone is buried in the earth so that the stone can heal, and rest. the Entity will be ejected from this plane and back to it's home at the end of this time (this is another ritual entirely)
once forcefully put back in it's home it cannot return here unless it is called back by a mortal (human)(which is all too common)
i have kept the process vague on puropse. not because i have anything to hide, but because people that are not trained to do these things can get into serious trouble if they attempt it without the proper knowlege and mental abilities. even then it is a very dangerous process. if i fail it will likely be able to take my body, or kill me or someone else.
as for are they real,
the Medium that is my partner, is also my wife, due to physical disabilities she can barely carry a laundry basket up the stairs.
durring one cleansing. she threw me acrost a room with one arm
( i weigh near to 380 pounds) and threw my two retainers around like rag dolls.
the people that owned the house did not actually believe in what we were doing untill they saw that.
it is real, but you have to see it to believe it.

Priest demands the demons to leave you depending own how strong these,s demons are.They weekend Who ever it is doing the exorcism,,That is why a priest has to identify this demon and he will go from their.Demons are real..That is why their is havoc in the world and a big percentage of this generation is own some kind of meds: For bipolar depression and drugs..Jesus cast out demons in Luke 4:33 Demons are agents of the devil an evil spirit possessed by demons empowered by the prince of demons read Matthew 7:22 Matthew 4 :24 Matt: 9 :34 Matthew 25:41 in Mark 16:9 He cast out 7 demons.What happens is the possessed is set free and the demon goes to the desert and stays their how long no one knows but I do know this the bible tells you when the demon that has been cast of you realizes it is not tormenting you any more here it will come back to temp and to torment you but worse than before..And the only thing that will keep it from you and to torment you even more is when it returns you had better have love in your heart mind and soul so the demon will recognize that the spirit of the lord lives in you and it can,t torment Jesus and a mind with the love of Jesus in it...Even the demons do what Jesus says...If the demons are demanded in Jesus name to flee you they go but it is up to you to keep them away...God bless you through your learning...Is the demon real...Yes ask some one who is being tormented by them they will tell you. People who torment by murder, or hurt someone else in any ungodly way is being tormented by Satan driven demons.A lot of people are blinded by this epidemic of demon possessed people...They are giving it another name..Bipolar ah depression psychopathic insane..God bless all

The idea of possession is complicated. What is real?
If you have a mental illness that is personified in your mind as a "demon", or if there is a spiritual entity that is a fallen angel, what is the difference? To the person involved, there is no difference between these two, so what is real?
The exorcism depends on the religion, some have physical beatings, some just prayer and exhortations, in all of them, the idea is to get the "demon" to leave.

Contrary to the ignorance some show to the truth and what is really going on, Demons are very real and sadly becuase of holy wood people asume your head has to be spinning for you to be posessed. This is not true, posesion comes in many forms, and those who do not believe in God are generally left alon or ignorant to the presence of demons, why? If my goal was to torment and take captives, would i go after anyone in the cell already?
Exorsism has forms as well, some are more intense than others depending on what is being delt with.
If we do not have spirit or souls, what is our concience? and why do we conflict with our own minds? Demons cannot read a mind but they can suggest many things into it, and the greatest deception is one single word "I" put I in front of something and you accept it as your own thought.
You also do not have to be posessed to be afflicted, demons dont need in to do damage to an individual. Multiple personalities, schizophrenia, and so on, including serious depresion and things along these lines which the atheist world would labal as a defective human mind, are in fact froms of posesion and form of outer torment.
If you really want to understand the truth i suggest 2 books to get you started, both by dr. Rebecca Brown M.D. 1- prepare for war 2- He came to set the captives free
There is a world out there so many are to ignorant to see or just plain deny it, but it is real regardless of what they want to say about it. Seek truth, no matter where it leads.

There is no demon possession but like Morey000 says they make a good movie.
Unfortunately a lot of ppl that go through supposed exorcisms die from the beating they are given to try & drive the'demon'out :-(

Brain chemistry is pretty complicated, and some people really do get wacko. But this doesn't mean that they are possessed by some fictitious evil demon. Evil demons are just child fantasies.

It doesn't work because possesion by demons is a dumb superstition (as if there's any other kind). I suppose you could say it works by enriching the exorcist, though.
