The Bible was written by dozens of people over a four thousand year period. Most of the books in the New Testament are named after their authors. Those that are not willusually contain information on who wrote it (e.g., various epistles by St Paul and Revelation by St John).
In the 4th century, Catholics held a council in Rome to decide which books were "the inspired word of God" and which books were not. The set of books that they decided on is still the official Catholic Bible. However, in the 1500s, Martin Luther decided that the Catholics were right about some of the books and wrong about others. He decided to throw out several books. Protestants use his version.

Mott, your Priest was too zealous and probably pulled your leg. Jesus existed many years after the original scriptures were written. Although some psalms were quoted by Jesus. So you see it could not be that he wrote anything in the Bible. Glad you asked to be certain of your facts before telling anyone about this rumor. Spartawo...

forgive me for my confusion. some say Jesus is the son of God. Others say that Jesus is God. Since little, i've always wonder how Jesus can be the son of God and the God at the same time. If Jesus is God, then God was baby who was born with blood all over him, need to be feed, and have to learn. And later, the great God was murdered by some weak human? God should be better than that. And now some people say that he have child. So, that baby would be like the grandchild of God and also the child of God? So much confusion. Who have the final say then? God-father, Jesus-God or baby-Jesus God? lets have some critical thinking about that. i'm going to convert to religion with only one God. life should be simple. simple is good, but not any simpler.what about you?

Jesus did not write the Bible. The Bible had many different authors such as Moses and Paul. I would have to look up all of them for you. It took many years to write the Bible (although most books were written by different authors), and a lot of the Bible was written on personal experience.

the writers of the Bible are listed at the beginning of each book.
each writer was inspired by God to write only what God wished them to write.
God eas the source of all the writings.
It was written over a very long period of time
ranging from Old Testament times through the years after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
today's Christian Bible is the ONE TRUE Word of the Living God.

No Jesus never worte the bible!
There is no evidance to support the idea that he even knew how to write!
He was never said to have written a thing!
New testament is about what he said not what he wrote!
Face reality MAN MADE THE WHOLE THING UP!

The Spirit of Christ wrote the Bible working as He inspired godly men to put down the Scriptures for us to read.
1 Peter 1:10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired carefully, (11) inquiring what person or time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories. (12) It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look.
2 Peter 1:20 knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. (21) For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, (17) that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
The Bible was physically written by 40 different human authors from various walks of life on three different continents over a period of about 1500 years and yet it tells a cohesive and non-contradictory story from beginning to end demonstrating the divine authorship.
