can i use coconut oil and honey together??

can i use coconut oil and honey together as a leave in conditioner? if so, how much im i suppose 2 use??? step by step would b great thanks and is there other ingredients besides honey that i can use together with coconut oil??

Every time I tried to use an oil in my hair...it would always be oily for days after. I devised a "reicipe" myself using honey, egg yolk and dried powdered henna mixed together with h2o or chamimile tea...but you have to rinse it out.
