I'll use hablar as an example

verb: hablar
the stem is "habl-" and you drop the "-ar"

yo - hablo, add -o
tu - hablas, add -as
el/ella/usted - habla, add -a
nosotros - hablamos, add -amos
vosotros - habláis, add -áis
ellos/ellas/ustedes - hablan, add -an

this works for all regular -ar verbs in the present tense, and hablar is one of them.

My teacher taught us a little jingle to help us remember it, sorry i can't sing it a post it hear but it went something like this:

O, AS, A (clap, clap) AMOS, AIS, AN (clap, clap)

and we would sing this everyday, so when i came time to take the conguating tests, i would sing this song in my head, and i'll do just fine!
