I would consider trying to get to know anyone for a relationship on a personals website a bad idea because you dont really know if who they seem to be is who they really are, and it is more difficult to discern because you are not actually having a live interaction with this person. Be very careful of this type of thing, it often leads to a bad realtionship, hurt and dissapointment.

Well, I, personally, think it's a good idea. And I say that from experience <--trying to look for someone online myself. But, here lies the REAL question: does it matter that she is divorced? Can it be that she's just single? Would it mean the same thing? Why does the word "divorced" have to be there? Granted, there's a certain stigmatism that goes with that but really, the same could be said for someone that hasn't been married. All in all, the real thing is that it is true you have to be careful, but you also have to be careful if you see the person day in and day out. You don't know if that person is/isn't telling the truth and you have to weed them out by the different answers. I think it's a good idea and good luck.

Probably a bad idea. the reason why is because things can get so sticky... So in order to just keep you from leading her on I would just steer clear. but if she's divorced that means she is single... So I don't see anything wrong with that but if she is thinking about a divorce STAY AWAY!

I don't think it's bad. Just because she is divorced doesn't mean anything, she could have been cheated on or something.

i couldn't see a reason why it would be a bad idea... obviously she's had a failed relationship, but who hasn't? if she's had like 15 divorces, that's a different story...
