I know how you feel. I'm in my 5th year of pharmacy college and it's very stressful. What I normally do to calm myself down is sit down & take a few deep breaths. I know you have an exam tomorrow so this advice may be for future reference. My routine the week before an exam is to go to bed early during the exam week around 8-9pm then I wake up around 3-4am. Doing that allows me to take my time to eat a good breakfast such as cereal (then you don't have to worry about your stomach growling during the exam), relax a bit, eat,& I get a good few hours of studying in. The key is to not make yourself feel rushed or to procrastinate. The good thing about being up early is that your mind is more awake (once you get used to waking up early), the house is quiet b/c everybody else is still in bed, & have the rest of the day ahead of you. t took me a while to find the best way to calm myself down, but I realized that this method works better because if I study in the evenings after class I'm already tired and I don't feel like doing much else. However, when I get up in the morning I feel that I have more time, less rushed, therefore, less stressed.
The night before an exam my routine is to go to bed at 8 or 9pm, then I wake up at midnight and stay awake all night till my exam. It seems to work well. Then I make up my sleep after the exam.
Hope this advice helps. Just don't stress yourself too much. I used to do that becaused I felt the need to be perfect and it didn't work well for me. As long as you put the time and effort into your studies you should be fine. If you find yourself getting the jitters during the exam just take a few deep breaths. I would also suggest paging through the exam first, to see what you need to do & answer the questions you know first. That way you can sort of forgot that stuff and focus on the rest of the exam. If you have formulas (math or perhaps pieces of key information) write them down as soon as you get your test. That way you can also not worry about retaining the information in your brain as you take your exam. You can always refer to whatever you had written down.
You seem like a very motivated person and I wish you the best of luck on your exam!

Test anxiety ha! You need to take a breather and after you have studied take a walk and get some air. Do some stetching before you go in for the test. Dont expect too much . Yes an A. not 110% DO your best ofcourse. You know what you are looking at for your future! You sound like you know you are going somewhere. And that is great! Do not overwhelm yourself. You are headed in the right direction.

ok first of all education is NOT the only thing you have....the reason it's causing you anxiety is because you are putting too much pressure on yourself. you need to relax, take a breath and clear your mind....a great education is fine, but all the money and success in the world will mean nothing if you have a heart attack at 35....you'll do much better on the test if you can focus your mind, without negative anxiousness...plus you won't be able to sleep well, untill you quit thinking about it. distract yourself, listen to music or something.

When I was in nursing school all I did was study, study, study and test, test, test. From the time I got up until the time I went to sleep..early in the AM. It got to be ridiculous. I finally learned that if I don't have it all in my head after studying an hour or two, staying up all night or getting up early in the AM won't be any help. It will only make me more anxious. So I would set a time to study and stop...take care of myself, and get a good night's sleep. I'd run over the stuff in the morning one time then get to class. NO CRAMING before class! That was my rule. Just relax. If you don't know it before you get to school, then you don't know it. You're not going to learn it any better a minute before class. That helped me. Sleeping well and a good breakfast and I was second highest in my class. Godloveya.

It might be worth your while to learn about positive affirmations and the power of positive thinking. It may sound hokey, but it really does help as it turns the tone of your thinking from a negative position of vulnerability into one of positivity and strength. Visualizing the end result you want can be very powerful......you've heard of self-fulfilling prophecy? Why not have the prophecy be a positive one instead of a doomsday scenario? Check your local library for a copy of the DVD "The Secret" which talks about how what we think becomes reality and how learning to master your thoughts helps you achieve success.
Also, meditation may help as it can teach you to block out external distractions and focus and to control your physical and emotional self better.
Finally, studying and preparing thoroughly for your tests will help you walk in more confident than if you skim the material and hope for the best.
I also wanted to mention that, while education is important, it's only one element of success. I've recently been listening to the audio version of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad books by Robert Kiyosaki and have learned many valuable lessons that I'll have on my side as opportunities come my way. It'd definitely be worth your while to check out the series and learn as much as you can what traps to avoid as you progress through your career and life so that you can enjoy the maximum benefits of your efforts to educate yourself.
Good luck!

You are way too stressed! You are basing your
entire success or failure on this one test. Stop!
Go sit in a chair-RELAX-breath deeply and count to
7. Let it out slowly and tell yourself you are releasing
all stress out thru your nose(or mouth). Do this
until you feel yourself calming down. Do it some
more and tell yourself,"I know this test and I'm going
to ACE it. I am smarter than this test and I will
know all the answers. You must get your mind
under control!!! (By the way, this helps when
going for a job interview also.) Good luck.

Study hard and when you are taking the test just be calm and confident, because you will know all the answers , or at least able to figure them out with not much trouble if you study hard.

Take a break from studying then go back to it later and review it on the day of the test so your mind is refreshed.

Breathe in (count to 5), breathe out (count to 5).
Close your eyes and visualise yourself surrounded in pure white holy light.
A couple of minutes should make you feel better.
