It is called an Avoidance personality Disorder. You feel that others are superior to you in some way, or that you are inferior in some way. Because of this, you feel they are out to get you. There is lack of trust and communication between yourself and others. It is not caused by a physical complication, but it is considered a mental disorder that is treatable by consultation, and often medication.

To be real cynical politically it is called "Nationalism". A lot of nations have it including us. Seriously there are a number of disorders that have a diagnosis of paranoia. I sugggest typing "paranoia" into Yahoo! search and you will get a number of links.
