Prayer and sometimes that little voice in My head it sometime scares the be-gebbers out of Me all of a sudden I just know the answer like today I was sitting outside my bishops office and was wondering why he wanted to see me Then all of a sudden I said to my husband Oh I can't believe it I am being called to a position in the church and I knew which one a little voice said not this one you think, this one I would have never thought of that one in a million years due to the fact of my age.

Look for things in your life to stand out. Usually more then one or two things. Especially after times of deep prayer. The main thing to remember is that the guidance of the Holy Spirit will never conflict with the Bible.

Very carefully. You must have a basis of knowledge. When you think the Spirit has prompted you, ask yourself if the feeling you are getting is in line with the teachings of Christ. Does the answer bring you joy? If you can honestly answer "no" to either of those, then as right as the feeling may have been, the feeling you are getting is not from the Spirit, but may be Satan trying to deceive you, especially if he knows you are sincere about your inquiry to the Lord. It takes time, patience, sincerity, and willingness on your part to learn.

You pray and ask the Lord to reveal himself to you. Read the word, if anything doesn't line up with the word even if it is supernatural it is NOT God.
