So answer me this.... all you who think mexicans coming here is a good thing.....
Hypothetically speaking, a family of illegals moved into your neighborhood one day, right next door to you.
They park 8 cars on the lawn ... all of a sudden there are 12 screaming kids around all the time ... within a week the trash starts blowing into your yard ... The two pitbulls are chained to the bumper of the low-end suv.... Carnival music ALL the time blaring ...
Hypothetically speaking, would you:
A) Go over and knock on the door (if you can get by the snarling dogs), and proclaim that you very much appreciate the diversity they have brought to your world and you are happy to have the opportunity to be their neighbors and friends.
or
B) Lock up everything air tight, keep the kids inside and start scouring the local real estate market.
Be honest. I think most people who preach diversity have never really expirenced it outside of college...

MizzJerry: Yep, forgot about the chickens. Unlike the neighbors, they go to bed and are quiet at some point...... Maybe the dogs got them.....

To all you pro illegal types ...
Our neighborhood has changed rapidly within the last 2 years. The city 15 minutes north to us apparently has changed within the last year and a half. I took my family to the mall in this affluent town yesterday. I was astonished to see the mall full of thuggish thirdworlders. The thing was, they were walking around TRYING to appear intimidating. I'm pushing my baby stroller out of the elevator and one of these guys is staring me down like he wants to fight me. Actually most of these people were walking around with a pissed off, chip on their shoulders attitude. I don't know about you, but going to the store to return a pair of shoes only to be surrounded by gang-bangers makes me realize the US is in serious trouble.
Unless you live in one of these areas (which mine has apparently become) you have no idea how serious illegal immigration is. The media and corporate America is selling us on how wonderful this is. Thing is, these media and corporate brass live in secluded, gated communities with security. The average American does not.
You may not see the problem yet. (This is like a dangerous stormfront that's slowly moving across the country) But in due time this will affect you more than you realize.

You're rambling a bit, and your question is weighted. Very few are actually "pro-illegal aliens", in so much as some are in favor of easing the legalization of immigrants, and potentially granting some sort of permit to those already here illegally. I have a number of reasons for doing both: First, my father is a self-employed carpenter, who works alongside a handful of illegal aliens. Many others he knows employ dozens of illegals, and this is a pretty common practice everywhere. For the most part, America has become a service and technological nation - it's actually pretty hard to fill a job doing "grunt work", let alone doing it well. Many illegals make more money here than they would in Mexico and Central America, where most of them come from. However, they still probably make a substantial amount less than an American doing the same job. Also, the sheer number of illegal aliens in the country is astounding. It's been cited at around 11 million, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's more. Exiting that many people from the country is near-impossible and quite likely to cause much more trouble than it would save. America is also a huge country, and believing we can actually completely secure the borders is a pipe dream and would be ungodly expensive. Finally, by granting some sort of permit to illegals, we can actually track them, which means we can tax them for the public services they're already using, such as roads, public transit, and schools. We can also hold employers more responsible to minimum and "living" wage laws, since they wouldn't be paid under the table anymore. Short story - you're not going to STOP illegal immigrants, so why not make it easier to keep track of them?

I have to draw the line at the pitbull comments. Obviously you and others have been unduly influenced by the liberal press. Most of the bad rap that the poor dogs have is due to the fact that in that culture Dog fighting is popular, cruel to the animal, inhumane to the animal, but popular with the people.
Type pitbull into your browser and see what you find. Surprisingly you will learn that the pit is very people friendly, far more friendly than a cocker spaniel. You might find that Americas favorite dog, Petey, of Our Gang Comedy fame, was a pitbull.
The point here is that the pro ammnesty people should start doing their own research instead of listening to the media and what others say. If they can make you think that pitbulls are killers then they can make you think that illegals are just looking for a better life.

I have experienced the Mexican take over first hand. We (my wife and I) were forced to leave all of our family behind in Littleton, CO because we did not feel that it was a safe place for our baby girl to be raised. My wife grew up in this neighborhood and hoped that our daughter to would go to the same school that she and her mother both went to. The crime became to much for us to handle. Especially with a little girl. The cost of living was more than we could afford. The fact that the local elementary school worried more about learning Spanish then English. Just way too many people that did not speak English. Just way to many people period. We just had no choice but to leave. I don't think that anyone should have to live like this all because of illegals moving into our neighborhoods. So much for the American Dream!!!

Wonderful scenario. You know of course that all of the pro-criminals will be very hateful when all you did was lay it out to them. You know darn well that after their 7 year old sister was raped by 10 or 12 of the "men" and every thing they had was stolen they would change their mind.
This is the way it is. People like yourself and I have been damaged by these criminals, we have seen the truth in the threat they cause. They have all but taken over cities where no White, Black, Asian or non-Mexican dare to walk because they will be robbed, raped or murdered. They just don't get it, they think that we are hateful, racist and fearful for our great country just cause we "don't understand". You'll never change them, too bad that by the time the criminals do show them the truth we will all be dead.

that is a honest and real question. it dose happen all the time. matter of fact in springdale arkansas thay are now making a new law saying you can no longer park on the grass.
heeres how i do it in my neighbor hood.
if you lived here befor me and that is how your house was when i moved here. than it is ovious that i moved here knowing that it existed and there is nothing i will do about it.
if someones new moves in and turns the place into a slum when it wasent befor. i do let them know that this is how it is and that i am going to let the authority know every time i can.
i have learned that thay usaly clean up there act or move away.

Here is a little Reality for you, instead of living in fear of your neighbors, try to make them understand that you Will not tolerate your neighborhood being all trashed out, There must be some kind of compromise for people to live together. Just because someone you dont know moves into your neighborhood you dont have to automatically expect the worst.

I think kberto is a bit off, and your hypothesis is to far to the left. There are many who just want a place to work to have a better life for themselves. A bit closer to the middle of this issue, the illegals should be sent home. There is a lot that they can do there if they put the time and effort into it that they put into coming to America. Illegals should stay in Mexico. Should any do as you suggest, the police would be called in a heart beat.

I would choose B.Sadly, this isn't so hypothetical.I've seen this happen to the town my boyfriend lives in.The illegals have taken over.People who have lived there their entire life are trying to sell their homes to get out,no one is buying them. Most will end up losing money on their property if they do manage to sell it.
By the way...you forgot about the chickens.
