I feel as though my sis recieves more attention that me. Im not sure if its cos shes beautiful and people ultimately tend to be drawn towards a pretty face in contrast to well an ugly one or whether its just cos im not as interesting. Im not jealous one bit if you were wondering, its not like i want all the attention i just find it weird that its evident that more time is spent on her. Thanks in advance :)

Maybe it is, since I am a younger sister and I DEFINITELY dont get as much attention as she does!! She has so many boyfriends all the time.... I've only just recently found one.... sheesh

Well i should know i have an older sister. I feel my sister ecieve more attention also and have come up with a conclusion why. Grown-up of today lived way back in tommorrow land. this where the older child seems to be more knowledgable and will understand. I feel my sister is prettier than me but in the end i think if her was more prettier why would she get all the attention? i mean the ugly one always need more attention, and the beautiful one doesn't becasue she has her beauty of create a back-bone for her.

It may be that your older sister is going through things (school and social events, gearing up for future events / school / life) that is taking up a lot of her (and your parents) time.
Consider thought that by the time your her age your parents will know a lot more about how to deal with those kinds of issues.

My younger sister would hold her breath until she passed out. It probably took her awhile to learn how, but is sure got her a lot of attention.

Quite common i guess i am the eldest and my younger sisters always complain that i am favoured most~! My parents also always give me most attention as they say no matter how many children they have, eldest is always special as this is their first time experiencing fatherhood and motherhood.... don feel left out~! every child is special in one way or another to every parents in their hearts~!~!

As a parent, i can share that there is less love to go around for each successive kid. The second gets far less, and by the fourth or fifth you don't even remember who they are some days!

Does your sister have more confidence? I know people are just automatically drawn a lot more to people with confidence than people without it.
