and she says maybe, then laughs?

depends on what you asked her.
If you asked her a personal question in an effort to get closer to her, and she says maybe, then you should tell her to jump off a cliff. It's a coy reply (especially if she knows you're trying to score).

Next time she asks you something, tell her "maybe"

The answer of "maybe" could just be a kind way of answering no, since she didn't have enough balls to speak her mind.
Laughing is just plain rude....steer clear and guard your heart!

It depends on the person and the question. It could mean possibly yes, but then I'd have to know the question.

it really depends on the woman. She could be sarcastic and mean 'not in a bajillion years' or she could have just thought of somthing funny at the time. just ask her if she was being sarcastic and if she answers no in a sarcastic voice....sorry dude

Probably that she will get something out of your believing that "yes" is a possibility.

...but to be completely honest, out of context, it's easy to make people exploitive. Share more next time.

Either she means "no", or she means "maybe, but you're making me feel uncomfortable". You should pay attention to the tone of her voice.

its the laugh of "yeah right your really gone do that" or " are you being serious" it kind of means the opposite of what she actually answered, but didn't want to hurt your feelings.
