i did that once without even realizing it, so dont feel stupid you are not the only person in the world to do that. I had my friend do some research on it for me cause I was at work and she told me that i needed alot of fluids and to try and get some rest and also to not take anything for like the next day. I hope you feel better!

You took 1600 mg of ibuprofen in a short period of time. The highest daily dose (by prescription) is 3200mg. The most common side effects from ibuprofen (and all NSAIDS) is gastrointestinal upset and in rare cases bleeding.

Drink some fluids (water preferably) and take some antacid if your stomach is still upset. If you're still bothered by whatever ailment that lead you to take the ibuprofen, I'd suggest taking some acetaminophen (Tylenol) instead.

Hope this helps.

Drink a lot of water over the next couple of hours. You should be okay later.

Edit: Yes, the extra dosage of it should be out of your system now. Careful next time.

You are fine. Like what the others said...drink lots of water and it would help if you ate toast or crackers or something. Having something in your stomach with medicine is usually good.

Just don't OD next time... It seems like those didn't have a horrid effect on you. Just remember what you've taken and when. I'd suggest water to flush out your system.

Drink plenty of water and you should be fine, if you start to feel worse (eg. vomiting) you may like to see your Doctor.

don't take anything else for starters, drink fluids to stay hydrated and if you get worse or more symptoms get to the ER ASAP
