when you first start off ,don't try to use the rear view mirror to do this with,,you can learn that part of it later,,lean and look back wards, you,ll be able to control the car a lot better that way, every one had problems learning this, believe me we all had problems with it.find a way that is easier for you to do,not what everyone else tells you that is ,and if it works for you ,do it this way, i learned my self to drive, kind of look at it like your on you own,and like its a must do thing, once you find an easy way you,ll be able to learn this with no problems, good luck i hope this help,s.

Practice it more. For example go in a play ground and mark few lines with a chalk. Now first practice straight reverse. Having a friend with you will help.
After you are ok with straihgt reverse, its time for some experiments....rotate the steering, and see its effect. You would know where vehicle goes with steering's direction.
Also open seat belt when u r reversing, it helps u turn around and look at back.

If you can't go in a straight line, you're going too fast. And you don't want to go around curves in reverse, you only want to use it to back out of parking spaces and maybe return after running a stopsign too far.

Use the rear view mirrors
