just seeing if mixes make good dogs

i have a lab/rott mix that is the sweetest dog ever. everyone loves her. mixes make great dogs. you can find one anywhere and don't spend an arm and leg on it's heritage. unless you want a designer breed. if you're thinking of a rott mix please visit your local shelter, the big breed black and tan dogs are usually the last to be adopted. and there's no good reason for it. any dog will be great as long as you put the time and expense into proper vet care, feeding and training and socialization. good luck.

I have a Rottweiler German Shepard mix. Markings similar to a German Shepard but is black and dark brown more like the Rottweiler, floppy ears. He is very friendly, very cute, and is fiercely defensive of our family if there is a stranger around. He let us know when the neighbors House was being broke into by barking strangely and than when my husband opened the gate and told him to get the guy he chased him down. He also did the same thing when the same neighbors house was on fire. Otherwise he is very sweet and some what clumsy!

I own both a rottweiler (Bobby) and a german shephard rottweiler mix (Rocky). Both are adorable but have very different personalities. Rocky is more calm and laid back. While Bobby is more crazy barking at people as they walk by and trying to get all the attention. Rocky seems to be more intelligent. He understands things faster than Bobby. When Rocky was younger (He turned 8 this month!), he liked to explore a lot. He would even go under our house and see what he could find.

I have a rott/lab mix. I tried to put a pic up here but i couldnt. If you want you can go to my myspace page i have a big pic of him on there. Just go to myspace, search and then type Lil Townsend. it should take you to it. Anyways he is just so lovable not a angree bone in his body. he mostly looks like a rott though except for the white under his neck. Anyways sorry I couldnt post the pic here dirrectly.

my dad has a rottie and she is the sweetest dog in the world!!!! if you make them afraid of you though, they can turn out to be really mean!!!!! you just need to train and love them (just like all dogs). also they can not have rawhides because it tears up their insides.
