i have imvu than i chat with people that i dont know.how do i tell my mom that?

You don't. Your mom doesn't need to know everything. And that's coming from a mom.

chatting is now one of the way people make contact or making friend. some they know who they chat with but some don't, and they just find each other thru chatting.
for as long as you follow all the rule in chatting then there's no need to tell your mom about it. one thing that you must remember, never give your actual detail to someone you meet thru chatting. because there are a lot of crazy people who is using chatting to find their victim. so you must be very careful.
chatting is fun but if it get serious then you need and must tell at least someone you trust about your chat friend. especially when you decide to meet in real with your chat friend.
if you play safe then there is nothing to worry about ya...!

Fess up now kiddo as she will find out eventually and then you will likley be in trouble. She may be upset but will respect the fact that you fessed up on your own. The reason she likes to know who you chat with is not to be mean or controlling. There are so many perverts out there misrepresenting themselves on the internet that your mom just wants you to be safe. If you're not doing anything wrong (planning to meet this person which you should NEVER do or using sexually expicit language) then you really have nothing to hide. It's easy for parents to install spy wear too so she may know already and is waiting to see if you're going to be honest with her?? Be safe!!
