The best way to find the answer to your question is to go to the card sites direction (Visa, Mastercared, Discover, American Express, Capitalone) and see what they are offering, and talk to a representative.

You might also want to go through some banks (Bank of America which recently bough MBNA, Chase Bank) and see what they are offering.

I know Chase is advertising a rewards program called chase freedom it states no annual fee here's the link:

Citi and Chase use to have 5% on gas, groceries & drugstores but dropped it to 2%. I did just see a Bank America offer for the 5% gas, groceries & drugs tho !
