1. Do not judge.
2. Do not kill.

People are always taking these concepts and saying, "see, see you christians are being hypocrites". The do not judge phrase means to not judge hypocritically or in an arrogant attitude. For example, if i tell you to not to smoke cigarrettes while im using chewing tobacco. we both got problems so i shouldn't judge him when i got the same problem. The do not kill phrase is actuallly stated as "do not murder". to murder someone is to do it intentionally. To kill someone is to do it because the aggressors made them. For example, an attacker shoots the man he is robbing=murder. Someone is attacking my wife, with a knife, and he won't respond to my calls of put the knife down=kill (self defense).

Logic is not a friend of those who hate the truth.

Dude, the Bible was written over TWO THOUSAND years ago. Are we putting today's meanings on words that were expressing a thousands of years old idea.
The Bible is like a guide. It was written in a very insanely barbaric time when they thought nailing people to a giant cross and breaking their knees for being a rebel was justified.
Sin happens everyday "in thought, word and deed" dude. Murder can happen by the action, also to hate someone is murder in your heart, also the same sin.
We have the RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS baby, it's in the Constitution, God Bless it. Those arms are for use in times when someone is trying to attack you. Whether or not you kill them is on your conscience. It's going to be gorey no matter what. You could just shoot a warning shot or shoot that fool in the legs so he can't get ya. You kill him and you've taken the life of someone else in your own hand.
Judge not lest ye be judged. They aren't walking in your shoes and the same stipulations don't apply to them. So they can take their uninformed prejudice and shove it in the ear of their like-minded friends. Why should you care?

I don't think that is exactly correct. We are to follow God's laws no matter what, even if that meant losing your wife. That is what God wants us to do, trust that even though your wife is being attacked, that by following Gods laws, what will be, will be. And those that have true faith in God, even under the pressure, of losing your wife you will do what is right in God's eyes, & he will take care of you! See the movie End of the Spear! to understnad that better.

Most people Christian or not are hypocrites...We are human & by nature that makes us imperfect. The idea is though, that you should take the board out of your own eye, before removing the spec of dust from your friends eye. We are all imperfect, we each have our own problems.

Christians are to teach by setting the example of Christ (who was sinless & could point out all our problems). What I am trying to say is, don't judge, period. That is for God, to judge us. Don't say to your smoker friend, you should really quit without having quit chewing first. Killing in self defence is still killing. Murderis still Killing, What I believe the Bible says is "to take anothers life." Killing is killing no matter what the reason.

Sometimes we as Christians fail. I think we if we are in a position to judge something it would to judge the behavior not the person. We are also to render unto Cesar that which is his and unto God that which is His. This means to me that there are laws that we are to follow. Man's law and God's law. I think alot of people that are not Christians just want to find fault to make themselves look better. Especially when they are looking for an excuse not to go to church. "Everyone there is a hypocrite." We know that Christians go to be fed, not because we think we are good enough.

so what do you call it when you invade a country, or a land, kill everyone there and take what they have.

in refrence to the biblical account of Joshua being told to take the holy land for his own and to kill every palistinian there.

and in recent historical refrence, the Crusades, and the slaughter of the Native tribes of the American continents.

and when i refrence Judgement, the bible says that Judgement is reserved for God.

now i assume this to mean that the judgement of the soul is for god. however any Christian that tells me that i am going to hell for being Pagan, is therefore passing god's judgement on me. and that they do not have the right to do.

the bible and the teachings of Jesus are very clear

Jesus says love your neighbor. not love your neighbor UNLESS...

and god clearly says I am the JUDGE.

Actually the "do not judge" means don't worry about other people as everyone will get their judgement from God in the end. But otherwise I agree completely.

Probably for the same reason YOU'RE giving YOUR own interpretation, claiming Scripture means something it DOESN'T SAY.

BTW, God sure does commit and command a lot of murders/killings, for someone who forbids the act.

They do it for the same reason some people take words from the Qur'an out of context. They want to make the religion look bad.

The idea that everything in the bible makes sense "in context" is a tired old defeated arguement. BS is BS in or out of context.

Look up John 14:14 and read with as much context as you like and it's still a lie.

Do not judge means - judge yourself first.

Do not kill means - the other person is God's creation just like you,
and your killing goes against the commandment of God.

God even commands us not to be cruel to Animals (his creation) - but not because they have same souls like humans(Hindus).

Yes, you are correct on both accounts.

1.) We are to judge righteously; it is our obligation to judge.
2.) Killing is justified and acceptable, Murder is not.
