These idiots needs to open up a dictionary. Christianity IS a religion. If you think it's special, that's one thing, but you can't deny that it fits the definition.

They talk about it being a relationship with god. Which is a male-chicken and bull story. Look at all the rules and regulations they have to follow so that their god doesn't zap them into hell.
I'm so glad it is all imaginary.
edit: *c-o-c-k and bull* got censored. LOL

historically I suppose it can be called a religion- but even your definition does not really describe Christianity. Christ has made a way for us to have a personal relationship with The Creator. Think of it this way- the religions of the world have a bunch of laws to follow that can change with the wind so to speak. Christianity has people who are followers of Jesus Christ. How can we have this relationship- because He made a way for that , by dying on the Cross- and think about it He has risen from the dead so we can live through Him. Would rules did I say here? NONE!! Granted when you accept Christ you will want to obey Him- but that is not how you become a Christian. Not one leader of any "other religion" that has died is alive except Jesus, so that proves to me that He is God, and desires to have a relationship with us.

I think what is being said is that true Christianity, Biblical Christianity, is not a system, but is based on a right relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. This results in a transformed personality which rightly aligns us to God and others, believers in particular.
Jesus said "Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and FEW ARE THOSE WHO FIND IT" (Matthew 7:13,14)
Few are those who find it! yet we see over 1.5 billion calling themselves Christian!
But it is not those who call themselves Christian who are true Christians, but those whom God calls Christians.
"But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him." (Romans 8;9)
Jesus said unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)
The Kingdom of God is depicted in Scripture as a present reality. True believers are in the Kingdom of God NOW, in this present age.
Sadly, most who call themselves Christian, have never entered the Kingdom.
So True Christianity is not a matter of denominations, or religion, but a matter of what Kingdom you are living in.

You're right! Christianity IS a religion. Christianity is comprised of different sects, such as Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism, etc.

Christianity is not just a religion.
When you die,you either go to heaven or hell and if you are a Christian, you go to Heaven. If you aren't,you go to hell,no questions asked.Becoming a Christian is so easy, you just have to let Jesus in your heart and follow Him.You get to choose if you want to spend forever in Heaven or hell,I chose Heaven.

It is a cliche, just one of many that Christians use (as do we all). It doesn't really mean anything logically or intellectually.
