In my last job she had me fill out a form requesting a tax id pin, now that its tax time i have no clue how to file. Haven't received any paperwork for that company. Don't know exactly what i need to do my taxes? Help?

The company needs to give you a 1099 form. That is a statement of how much they paid you. You can file as an independent contractor, and/or the owner of a solely owned business.

I'm not sure what the tax id pin was all about - usually as an independent contractor, you'd use your social security number as your tax id.

You should get a 1099 from this employer, and it is required to be mailed by the end of the month. You'll show your income from the job, an any eligible expenses, on a schedule C or C-EZ, and also fill out a schedule SE for your self-employment tax (covers social security and medicare). The bottom line numbers from these two schedules will transfer to your 1040.
