In the dating scene, when a girl you really like picks another guy over you and let it go like it isnt a big deal. I dont know if im just mentally fragile or what, but when that happens to me im crushed. This is even with a girl that i've gone on one date with and when i get tossed to the side I get hurt.

if a guy can let it go like it's no big deal, it means he's been through rejection a whole lot. it's NEVER actually easy, some guys just hide it well. It always hurts. I, like you, sometimes think I'm 'mentally fragile', but then a couple days, sometimes a week and a bit later, I'm good to go.

So, some guys are cold, and some are easily hurt. Take care of yourself, find a way to work off your hurt/frustration, and give yourself some time when you have not been chosen.
But next time, start out by being on your guard about your expectations in the early stages of connecting with a girl... don't get too invested until you are more sure of what she wants.

Yea I feel this way too. Here is how you get rid of these feelings. Put on some comfortable clothes go to a far off place where it is quiet. Cross you legs and put your palms of your hands on your knees close your eyes and clear all the thoughts from your head. Now I want you to think of her the first time you met and think through the whole relationship (only the good thing) now I want you to let it go, push it away. Then get up and take a shower imagine the sweet you created was your feelings for her now they wash away down the drain.

I can tell you, you are not the only one, your not the first and you wont be the last.
You are at a learning stage, learn and accept that feeling, yes I know it hurts, but you must explore that feeling and know how it feels, once you know the feeling, you will move on.
Yes it is painful, hurtful and mostly like you said, its crushing you, but did you know that you are building and learning about emotions and yourself?
When you realise that, you will have a smirk on your face... But I know, it's still crap.
Trust me, one day, someone will ask you the same question and you will tell them, you learn from experience.
