Why would you have to wait? Unless your food runs through you in seconds and you would have to get out of the shower to sit on the toilet.

That is an old wives tale that you can't go swimming or shower for a certain amount of time after you eat. You can shower any time you want.

You don't need to wait unless you ate to much and can't move at the moment.I like my shower first
