i have a friend who met this really nice guy in d net. they started talking n in a week or so he said "i love u". the thing is my friend loves him a lot too. so now they r kinda a couple.however they hav never met face 2 face and hav only exchanged pictures.to top it all, they r far from each other and he's in the military...i'm really concerned for my friend as she has been heartbroken twice and it had a big effect on her...is it possible for their love to grow?

Yes it can. But for them to fall in-love in a week, i doubt it's love and shld be more of liking each other alot. Meeting in da net is like writing letters thru PenPal in the past...it's the same, just that 2 humans met thru the net...and it's a more convenient and advance way of communication...it's basically the same as meeting someone on the street...bt the downside is that most people might cheat online cos they can post fake pics...advise ur friend not to put so much into him for now till they meet and date a lil first....after that, then only decide what to do.

Probably not. You hear 2 or 3 people say how they found each other on the net, but you don't hear the other billions who say those relationships failed.
If she has had her heartbroken, she will fall easily for any sweettalker who can give her false hope of healing her heart. Tell her to break it off and find someone else, in real life and not on the net.

It is quite possible, but the odds aren't in their favor. It seems to me that they are both feeling lonely and are searching for any type of attention and affection that they can. These are the ingredients that have given net dating a bad rep.

Too much too soon, Thats not love. All there is room for when they meet is let down. It hapened to a guy friend of mine.

she doesnt now exactly who this guy is.. his personal life.. little mannerisms n whatnot
i mean they can meet up on the internet but i dont think it'll e love online
its infatuation now... when they meet maybe it can turn into love
