II'm using it for my legs. Right now I have Veet. Are they safe? Is there any side effects. Also, is it true that it makes your skin weaker? Tell all the bad effects about using hair removal creams.

Veet or Nair

hair removal creams contain urea. urea is the waste product in urine, and can be toxic in large amounts. it can be absorbed by skin and sometimes gives off a urine smell for a day or so after using it (even after washing it off). be careful not to leave it on too long. some do not contain urea. check ingredients. also, if you have any bumps or irritated areas it will further damage the skin and leave an open area. i have tried veet and was unhappy. my hair is course and it takes longer than 10 minutes to dissolve the hair, causing the problem i mentioned above.

I've had bad experiences with Nair (burning, irritation), so i switched to Veet lotion and it's just as gentle as a body lotion for me. I swear by it and i'll never shave my legs again!!! :P

Think of it as putting household bleach on your legs.

Because that's really all it is.

Hair removal creams are made of mostly peroxide. Which is what makes your hair dissolve.

Like bleaching your hair, leave it on for too long and it becomes weaker and weaker and eventually snaps. Thats how they work...

So i wouldn't reccoment using them.

i would recomend veet or nair...if you have sensitive skin it could cause redness and a lot of burning and irritation...when i used it, not much happen to my skin. it burned while it was on there but once i rinsed it off it was ok so idk i guess it depends on the type of skin you have

It may burn or create redness if you are prone to breakouts and have sensitive skin. You should look for something made for someone with sensitive skin. I used Nair for a while and it was fine! (:
