I have seen several people using foul language expressing opinions that only a 12 year old mind would be coming up with. It is such a joke that any adult martial artist would even consider belittling him or herself by arguing and using foul language to answer people's legitimate questions. It is such a shame todays kids are so neglected. How does the general populace feel about this subject. P.S. If you can't answer with a little maturity or respect you don't belong here!

This is what upset me in the first place. Look what this immature kid wrote in response to someone's question.
"did you come on here to brag and tell us who your uncle is?well hello this is a martial arts forum of course we know what krav maga is and yes some ppl do do it.barely anyone has heard of it?how long have you been asleep for ?
get a grip mate iwasn't being nasty, maybe your just to thinskinned.does mummy still have you wrapped in cotton wool?jeeze didn't mummy wipe yourass for you today.it would seem from your reaction i hit the nail right on the head.
give it a rest mate come back when you grow up.
yes your right they teach it in a few places in brisbane which just happens to be a long way from israel, malta or europe.how you goin mate?" Your opinion bushido is worthless. Don't harass people with your narrow minded point of view. It's kids like you that I worry about. You are obviously not being watched by your parents SHAME ON THEM for raising you as a foul mouth!

I definitely don't think it's just you; lots of parents seem to have no clue whatsoever as to what their kids do online. But then, an awful lot of parents seem to have no clue about their kids in any area, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Remember that kids are only being kids; if you're going to be unhappy with someone, pin it on the parents, where it belongs.

parents who let there children in here unsupervised are very iresponsible,i wouldn't let my kids on here supervised.i'm a martial artist and i consider myself to be human like everyone else.being a martial artist doesn't make you a god or above all others it's a parents responsability to supervise thier children not mine or anyone else's on here.and come on wake up,us adults couldn't begin to even think about the amount of foul language children hear and use at school everyday.stand outside a primary school and listen to what they say, except your own children they strangely don't have much to say when they see there parents, funny enough.if you can't be responsible for your own children dont expect anyone else to,and if you can't dont have them.and i agree they are neglected a lot of parents don't care where they are or what there doing.i dont care about economics ppl have been doing it for thousands of years and managed 1 parent should be at home where they belong.
PS>i like your question and nothing personal but i think you need a little attitude adjustment.have you got a chrystal ball that you can see who's on the other end? and now iv'e seen your other answer i think you need a lot of attitude adjustment so i'm a 12 year old punk am i well my friend you had plenty to say when you thought that didn't you?you are a hypcrite, funny way to speak to someone you thought was a 12 year old.practise what you preach.
and anyone who is a mature adult wouldn't be rubbishing other ppls lack of education, some ppl can't help not being able to spell or can't help being uneducated but there still here trying.does it make you feel big that you wre lucky enough to get an education by belittling ppl who havn't.any of you that do this and call themselves a martial artist should be ashamed of themselves.or any human for that matter.

Martial arts begins and ends with respect.
Anything else is not martial arts, it is something else.

I think people act different in a situation where they are not seen by the public. The Internet is a good example of this. People can hind behind an avatar and a screen name so there baser thoughts come out.

It is kind of like bad weather, you really can't do anything about it so you have to let it go.

I can undestand your concern , and perhaps occasionally we adults do go to far , but I believe you are correct in assuming that most of the discurtesies come from the younger forum members . Thats probably the reason half of the adults start cussing , we're tired of hearing and seeing the juvenile sputterings of unsupervised children. While we do ,and I include myself in this, occasionally talk a little too much using foul language , there are more younger forum members using harsh language then the older members .

Hello,

Evey sport (Karate, Baseball, Soccer, Hockey and Bowling) our son has participated in most parents feel it's the coaches/instructors responsibility to keep there kids in check so they can run around town or go back home and try to have more.

We are NOT babysitters and when something involves there child it is only then do they seem to be concerned.

Colin, its just that way. I've ended up talking to other peoples' children(nothing against the young) on here. I know they are just bored and alone. I just encourage them to check out the blogs that people write. At least they won't be quite so bored, and the blogs are a little safer than MySpace where there are some world-class creeps.

Yes. I have come across questions that appear to come from a child. I ignore them. The first sign is bad language, poor spelling and poor syntax. If you can not form a well thought question, I ignore it. On the other hand I have found people who have questions that are very relevant for their age. These people have no one to ask? Where is Mom & Dad? I have answered many questions from a child that wanted to commit sucide, they were not popular, they were depressed. I tell these people my story and tell them they are not alone. I just hope that they read my response.

You are totally right. It is my belief that if you call yourself a martial artist you should conduct yourself with honor and dignity. Too many children are not being watched by their parents. We are setting a bad example for the next generation and for myslelf being a parent I realize more than ever we need to be good role models for the little ones more than ever.

I think it is simply a fact of today's society that many children have unsupervised Internet access. I would suspect that this does not automatically indicate neglect, but simply a different approach to the use of the Internet.

some parents cant watch over a childs sholder every second. Also, alot of the "immature people" on here could very well be adults.
